I was born and raised in San Diego, CA with my mother and father who were both born in Visakhapatnam, India. This project connects me to my roots and strengthens the communities that are quintessential to my culture and who I am as a person.
One of my fundraising methods to facilitate EyeForAll's work is music production. The same grandfather who inspired me to create EyeForAll also instilled a deep passion for music into me from a young age. From his theatrical performances of classical Indian pieces and “slokas” (song-like prayers), he constantly kept music in my ears. Although my love for music materialized in a more modern form than my grandfather’s love for music, he was still, yet again, the root of my passion. I produce House, Rap, Indie, and RnB beats and publish them to my YouTube and Beatstars (the latter being a website used to lease and sell music). The proceeds from my YouTube and online shop help fund EyeForAll and continue to link my passion for music and eye health, keeping me connected to my grandfather, who inspired me to pursue these two dreams.
